Overall Committee Charge:

To integrate the theories and practices of social and economic justice with those of sustainable design, to connect with new audience of individuals, agencies and public officials in underserved communities to increase knowledge and awareness of the benefits of green buildings and promote the USGBC as foremost green building resource.

Major Tasks / Responsibilities:

Assist with committee initiatives including the rollout of the DiversiGreen program to education the general public and underserved populations about sustainability and the USGBC

Benefits & Intended Outcome:

Help support social equity in our community by providing access to green building to underserved populations
