LEED Database Manager

Summary:

Assist the chapter in organizing and populating the LEED projects database on the chapter website.

Overall Committee Charge:

Facilitate the communication of Chapter events, announcements etc. via the website, email messages, monthly newsletter and social media sites. This Committee also furthers knowledge of the Chapter in the local community through marketing and PR efforts

Major Tasks / Responsibilities:

·       Outreach to chapter sponsors, members and general public to collect information on local LEED projects, using the national USGBC database as a starting point

·       Assist in entering project information into the LEED Projects Database on the chapter website.

Benefits & Intended Outcome:

·       Increase knowledge of local LEED projects

·       Develop relationships with owners, builders and designers of local LEED projects

Volunteer Qualifications:

N/A

Expected Investment from Volunteer:

1 year term, 2-4 hours per month, including a monthly committee meeting

Communications Committee Chair – Lisa Wilson

Investment from Organization:

Support of communications committee.  Website support from communications committee and executive director

Performance Standards & Expectations:

Grow the chapter's LEED project database to contain over 75% of the local LEED projects
