The NC Triangle Chapter Emerging Professionals (EP) consists of young professionals based in the Triangle area of North Carolina who are intent on becoming and recruiting future green building leaders. While USGBC Emerging Professionals targets those 30 years of age and younger, the program is open to any person, most especially those who are new to the green building movement. The NC Triangle Chapter Emerging Professionals organizes a variety of social, educational and community oriented events.

The Emerging Professionals are also a bridge between the local USGBC Student Groups and the NC Triangle USGBC Chapter. More information on student involvement is available on the Student Groups page.

Volunteer commitments for the Emerging Professionals range from as little as 3 hours/month to as much as 40+ hours/month. We are happy to find a role within the organization to suit your interests and available time. Volunteering with the Emerging Professionals Committee is a great way to build a network of contacts within the green building industry, shape the future of green building in the Triangle, and help make a tangible difference towards our ultimate goal of making green buildings available to everyone in a generation.

If you're interested in getting involved with Triangle Chapter Emerging Professionals or have general questions about the Emerging Professionals Committee, please contact Katherine Eggleston.
